Artists in the Schools

Louise Roy in the classroom
with eager
and enthusiastic students!
The Arts Council is poised to bring quality art education,
curriculum, and performances directly to the schools in San
Benito County. Over 6,000 students in San Benito
County have lost their art curriculum in their classrooms
and we are proud to bring the arts back into their education
including:
- a 12-week Comprehensive Art History Series
- Short-term Artist Residency
- Cultural Performing Arts Assembly
Some of the schools served by this program include Aromas
Elementary, Calaveras, Cerra Vista, Gabilan Hills, Ladd
Lane, Marguerite Maze, Pinnacle Court School, Rancho San
Justo, R.O. Hardin, San Juan Elementary, Sacred Heart Parish
School, Spring Grove, and Sunnyslope.
If you would like to learn more about our Artists In The
School program, or help sponsor an educational service,
please contact the Arts Council.
